MNNIT, Allahabad - Gen Quiz

Hi, Junta.
Sorry for the delay. Due to the untimely death of my dear old hard disk, the scores have not been compiled. Hope you all had fun. Here are the answers.

Had conducted a General Quiz and a Business Quiz on the 5th of March at MNNIT, Allahabad as part of their Annual Quizfest titled Gnosiomania 2k6. Here are a few qns from the Gen Quiz.


1. The painting was titled L.H.O.O.Q. It was a coarse French pun, when pronounced in French "elle a chaud au cul", it meant "She's got a hot ass". Identify the artist.

2. Originally known as 'Atomic Mass', they changed their name to '____ _______' when Joe Elliott joined as a vocalist (which Elliott had thought of in school). The band changed the spelling to its current one, since they thought the original name might lead people to believe they were a punk band. Their first released single 'Women' featured a video of a futuristic comic book world in which women were invented by men as subservient androids with the acronym W.O.M.E.N. standing for "Worship Our Master's Every Need".
